Dr. Ranjit Tamaskar is a board-certified internist with more than 20 years of experience providing comprehensive, patient-centered primary care. He focuses on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and long-term wellness, and is known for his calm, clear communication and commitment to collaborative, evidence-based care.
Dr. Tamaskar serves as President and longstanding physician partner at Atrium Medical Group, where he has helped develop one of the largest private internal medicine practices on Cleveland’s east side. He is actively affiliated with Lake West Hospital (University Hospitals), Mentor Hospital (Cleveland Clinic), and Euclid Hospital (Cleveland Clinic). He also holds multiple ongoing leadership roles across these systems, contributing to hospital quality, utilization management, discharge optimization, and interdisciplinary care coordination.
In addition to his outpatient practice, Dr. Tamaskar serves as Medical Director for multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities, where he helps strengthen respiratory care programs, improve care transitions, and implement effective long‑term and post‑acute care protocols. He is affiliated with Case Western Reserve University and actively precepts Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner students, supporting advanced clinical training.
He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, with successful recertifications in 2010 and 2020.
Dr. Tamaskar completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Huron Hospital (Cleveland Clinic Health System) and received his medical degree from Gandhi Medical College.
